The Cook's Herb Garden
Thursday, May 23 | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Demonstration Class, Taught by Marcia DePalma
If you’ve ever dreamed of growing an herb garden, this 3-hour, super-informative class is for you! With decades of gardening under her belt, Marcia walks you through the different steps to get started – from which herbs are most popular in the kitchen to how to plant them, their growing needs, maintenance, and how to harvest. From there, learn to bring their flavors straight into the kitchen, enjoying several recipes for beverages, marinades, appetizers, compound herb butters & dips, salads, and more including Basil Lemonade; Rosemary Focaccia; Homemade Pesto; Crostini with Roasted Tomatoes, Burrata & Basil; Orecchiette with Sage Butter; Lemon-Thyme Chicken and more. You will also receive a 60-page Herb Notebook filled with history, growing tips and tons of additional recipes, too. The sampling we do of each herb in class is only a small portion of recipes that you’ll receive in your notebook.
