Demonstration + Partial Hands-On Class (limited class size), Taught by Laura DePalma Isabella & Marcia DePalma

Bonjour, gourmands! Escape to a charming Parisian café within our Laurel Run kitchen for "The French Crêperie"! Part demonstration, part hands-on class, you’ll learn the secrets of creating the perfect thin batter, flipping with confidence, and unleashing your creativity with an array of delicious fillings. We will make and enjoy a savory Ham, Cheese & Mushroom Crêpe with Mornay Sauce, followed by a perfectly springtime Herbed Crêpe with Smoked Salmon & Dill. Then we move on to the sweet side of things with an Apple Crêpe with Dulce de Leche and the very classic Crêpes Suzette that’s enveloped in a rich orange-butter sauce and flambéed with orange liqueur. This class will cover an array of techniques including making classic batter, making a bechamel sauce, sautéing, flambéeing, and basic knife skills. Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages, including wine and beer.
