Make-Ahead & Freeze Holiday Brunch (So You Don’t Have to Wake Up at 5 AM)
Tuesday, December 3 | 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Demonstration class, taught by Laura DePalma Isabella, Chef-Instructor
I love brunch – especially holiday brunch! – but I don’t like getting up at the crack of dawn while everyone else is sleeping in order to make it. With these recipes and tips, you can have it all made ahead, and then get brunch on the table in a snap – which will make your family think you got up at 5 AM! All of these recipes are fantastic because they can be totally made in advance and then frozen, ready for whenever you are! In the class, we will learn to make Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting from scratch (yes, yeast dough and all); Crème Brulee French Toast; Classic Cheese-and-Sausage Strata; and our favorite Individual Quiche Lorraine “Muffins” made with puff pastry. All that’s left to do the morning of is pull out pre-cooked sausage, slice some fresh fruit, pour the Mimosas and coffee…and voilà! Holiday brunch is served.
