Bone Broth Basics: The Art of Making Nourishing & Restorative Elixirs at Home

Discover the transformative power of bone broth, a coveted culinary & wellness powerhouse of protein, collagen, and minerals that’s delicious both as a nourishing sipping broth and as a flavorful base for soups and sauces. In this demo class, we’ll explore the differences between culinary stock and bone broth, learn how to craft these rich, restorative elixirs from scratch using high-quality ingredients, and enjoy them both as Chicken and Beef Sipping Broths and in dishes like Traditional Vietnamese Pho and Comforting Chicken Matzo Ball Soup. We’ll be using local grass-fed beef as well as pasture-raised chicken from Woods Family Farm – just a mile up the road from Laurel Run! – and have additional bones available for purchase so you can easily recreate bone broth at home.
